天山ヘブンリーから届いた白い微笑み
急に、季節が深呼吸を変えた日のこと。
夜風は強く、
見上げた空には、白い雪が舞っていた。
翌朝、扉を開けると、
ほんの少しだけど、雪が積もっている。
風はおさまり、
世界は音をひそめたように、
静かに、静かに、雪が降っていた。
僕は長靴を履き、
傘を手に、外へ出かけた――。
お昼前。
用事を終えて戻ると、
まだシャッターの降りたアトリエの前に
ひとり、来客者が立っていた。
……いや、立っていた、というより。
そこにいたのは――
雪だるまん！！
世界には、こんな噂がある。
天高く聳える

白い使者が訪れた場所には、
自然と笑顔が溢れるのだ、と。
おぉ……
もしかして、はるばる
天山ヘブンリーから来てくれたのかな。
胸には、小さなハートの首飾り。
その満面の笑顔は、
行き交う人のこころまで
ふわりと、ほどいてしまいそうだった。
そんな雪だるまんが、
アトリエに来てくれた。
雪だるまんは、
数日のあいだ、
黙って、ただそこに居てくれた。
何かを語るわけでもなく、
けれど確かに、
空気がやさしくなっていた。
そして、ある日。
雪だるまんは、
笑顔だけを残して、消えていた。
きっとまた、
違う場所へ、
笑顔を届けに行ったんだろう。
ありがとう、雪だるまん。
君が残してくれたその笑顔は、
きっとこれからも、
誰かのこころを
そっと、あたため続けてくれるね。
白くて、まあるくて、
少し不格好で、でも迷いのない笑顔。
溶けてしまう運命を知りながら、
それでも来て、
数日ここに居て、
何も持たずに去っていく。
――これはもう、
装心具と同じだ。
形はいつか変わるけど、
残るのは こころに触れた記憶。
溶けても、なくならないものがある。
それを、こころと呼ぶんだね。
だから今日も、
Spring-of-Heartは
こころに触れた記憶を、そっと形にしている。
A White Smile from Heavenly Peak
It was a day when the season quietly changed the way it breathed.
The night wind was strong,
and when I looked up,
white snow was dancing across the sky.
The next morning, when I opened the door,
there was only a little snow,
but it had gently settled there.
The wind had calmed,
as if the world itself had lowered its voice,
and the snow fell—
softly, softly.
I pulled on my boots,
took an umbrella in hand,
and stepped outside—.
Just before noon,
when I returned from an errand,
someone was standing
in front of the atelier,
its shutters still closed.
…No,
“standing” isn’t quite right.
There it was—
Yukidaruman!!
There is a rumor in this world.
It is said that
when a white messenger descends
from the towering heights of Heavenly Peak,
smiles naturally bloom
wherever it appears.
Oh…
Could it be that you came all this way
from Heavenly Peak?
On its chest,
a small heart-shaped charm.
That full, open smile
felt as if it could gently untie
the hearts of everyone who passed by.
And so, Yukidaruman
came to the atelier.
For several days,
it stayed there—
quietly, simply being.
It spoke no words,
yet somehow, unmistakably,
the air grew softer.
And then, one day—
Yukidaruman was gone,
leaving only its smile behind.
Perhaps it had gone
to another place,
to deliver smiles once more.
Thank you, Yukidaruman.
The smile you left behind
will surely continue
to gently warm
someone’s heart.
White and round,
a little awkward,
yet with a smile free of doubt.
Knowing it would one day melt,
and still it came,
stayed for a few days,
and left without taking anything with it.
—This is no different
from a piece of soushingu.
Its shape may someday change,
but what remains
is the memory that touched the heart.
Even when it melts,
there are things that do not disappear.
That is what we call
the heart.
And so today as well,
Spring-of-Heart
quietly gives shape
to memories that have touched the heart.
