ここはペスカドル海。
風は穏やかに吹き、海はどこまでも青く広がっている。
その海を泳ぐのは、双魚の兄弟――
銀魚ジョニー・ダンクと金魚ビリー・ダンク。
今日もふたりは、「どちらが世界の海を早く一周したか」で大喧嘩。
いつだって本気で、元気いっぱい。
そして驚くほどそっくりな兄弟だ。
そんな様子を船上から眺めていたのが、大海賊デルニエ・ボン・ヴォヤージュ。
彼は航海日誌に、こんな言葉を書き残したという。
「戦いとは、ただ相手を倒すことではない。
本当に立ち向かうべき相手は、
いつだって己の中にいる。恐れ、迷い、諦め――
それらを乗り越えた先に、
人は新たな水平線を見るのだ。」
ジョニーとビリーが競い続ける理由も、きっと同じ。
昨日の自分を越えるために。
立ち向かえ。
闘え。
Fight! ~The Twin Fish Brothers~
Here in the Pescador Sea,
a gentle breeze drifts across the water,
and the ocean stretches endlessly beneath the sky.
Swimming through these waters are the Twin Fish Brothers—
Johnny Dunk, the Silver Fish,
and Billy Dunk, the Gold Fish.
Today, they are once again arguing over who circled the world’s seas the fastest.
They are always full of energy, always serious,
and so alike that they seem like reflections of one another.
Watching from the deck of his ship was the great pirate, Dernier Bon Voyage.
In his journal, he left behind these words:
“A battle is not simply about defeating an opponent.
The one you must truly face
has always been within yourself.Fear, doubt, and the urge to give up—
overcome them,
and you will discover a new horizon beyond.”
Perhaps that is why Johnny and Billy never stop competing.
To surpass the person they were yesterday.
Stand and face it.
