Spring-of-Heartのモチーフは、「こころ」。
それは、ぼくたちが歩みはじめた日から、ずっと変わらないこと。
想いをカタチにする。
そのために、ぼくたちは「こころ」をモチーフに選びました。
きっとこれから先も変わることのない、千古不易の想いです。
ある人の新しい旅立ちや覚悟、決意に立ち会うこともある。
期待に胸をふくらませながらも、
少しだけ不安そうな表情を浮かべて、
未来という海へ船を漕ぎ出していく姿。
その光景に、ぼくのこころも、ふわりと震えるのです。
「この想いを、どんなカタチにしよう。」
そう考えたとき、やっぱり思うのです。
Spring-of-Heartのモチーフは、こころなんだって。
ときには勢いやひらめきから生まれるものもあります。
でも、その勢いやひらめきが生まれるもっと前には、
必ず誰かの「こころ」があります。
ワクワクする気持ち。
期待する気持ち。
少しだけ怖い気持ち。
そんな色とりどりの想いが重なって、
ひとつのカタチになっていく。
もしかしたら、それこそが「ものづくり」なのかもしれません。
だからぼくは、これからも「こころ」を忘れたくありません。
そして、その想いが装心具というカタチになって、
誰かの毎日に小さな笑顔を咲かせるきっかけになれたなら・・・
Spring-of-Heartのモチーフは、「こころ」。
今日もまた、誰かのこころに、
やさしい「こころのはる」が訪れますように。
そんなことをたまに思い返す・・・
The Motif of Spring-of-Heart
The motif of Spring-of-Heart is the heart.
It has remained unchanged since the day our journey began.
To give shape to feelings.
That is why we chose the heart as our symbol.
It is a belief that will never change—a timeless conviction.
Sometimes, I have the privilege of witnessing someone standing at the beginning of a new journey.
With hope shining in their eyes,
yet carrying just a touch of uncertainty,
they set sail upon the sea called tomorrow.
Whenever I see a moment like that, my own heart quietly stirs.
“How can I give this feeling a shape?”
Whenever I ask myself that question, I always arrive at the same answer.
The motif of Spring-of-Heart is the heart.
Some creations are born from a sudden spark of inspiration.
But before inspiration ever appears,
there is always someone’s heart.
The excitement of new possibilities.
The hope of what lies ahead.
The quiet fear of taking the first step.
Countless emotions come together,
until they become something real.
Perhaps that is what craftsmanship truly is.
That is why I never want to lose sight of the heart.
If these feelings can take the form of a Soshingu—an ornament that carries the heart—
and bring even the smallest smile to someone’s day,
then that alone would make me happy.
The motif of Spring-of-Heart is the heart.
May a gentle Spring of the Heart visit someone today,
just as it always has.
Every now and then, I find myself returning to that thought.
